What this website collects, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you send us a message through the contact form, we store the name, email address, phone number (if you give one), subject and message you submit, together with the date and the IP address the message came from.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share what you send us.
Why we keep it
We keep enquiries so we can reply to you, and so that a message is not lost if our email fails to deliver. The IP address is stored only to help us identify automated spam.
Who can see it
Only Obokolpo Bangladesh staff with an administrator account on this website can read submitted messages. Messages are never published, listed publicly, or exposed through any public address.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as they remain useful for correspondence, and delete them when they no longer are.
Research participation forms
The Ektara research project has a participation and consent form. If you complete it, we store what you enter on that form: your name, age, gender, blood group, profession, affiliation, areas of practice and experience, special skills, address and contact number, along with your signature, the date, and the IP address the form came from.
We collect this because it is the record of your consent to take part in the research and of the expertise you bring to it. It is held on the same basis as the paper form the project has always used.
Only Obokolpo Bangladesh staff with an administrator account can read these responses. They are never published, never listed publicly, and never sent by email — the notification our team receives when a form arrives deliberately contains none of your details. Signatures are stored outside the public area of the website and can only be viewed by a signed-in administrator.
We keep responses for as long as the Ektara research is active. You may withdraw at any time.
Asking us to delete your data
Write to [email protected] and ask us to delete what you have sent, whether that is an enquiry or a research participation form. We will remove it and confirm once it is done.
